Meet Ani Choying Drolma the Musical Buddhist Nun

Ani Choying Drolma, also known as Choying Dolma and Ani Choying, is a Nepalese Buddhist nun and musician from the Nagi Gompa nunnery in Nepal. She has been recently appointed as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Nepal. Born in June 4, 1971 she ran away from her family because of her abusive father and joined Nagi Gompa Nunnery and started learning music.

Ani Choying has beeen engaged in social works. She collects donations and spent the money for orphanage children from remote areas. She is actively engaged in Arya Tara School and Aarogya Foundation (The Kidney hospital).
