Rwandan cycling team on another level!

It all started in 2008 with ‘Tour du Rwanda’ which was just a regional cycling race to gather Rwandans and also neighboring countries (such as Burundi,Tanzania,Uganda etc.) till the event was put on the international calendar in 2009.

‘Tour du Rwanda’ is an annual event which takes place in Rwanda and now its in the top three racing cycling organisations in Africa. All this happen with the big support of MINISPOC(Ministry of Sports and Culture of Rwanda) and some other private economic partner.

Rwanda Follows Morocco in Africa, those two are ranked at the top and Eritrea & Algeria follows being the third and the fourth. It was a big thing for Rwanda to move from the fifteenth place to the second position in the latest Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) ranking.

Adrien NiyonshutiAdrien Niyonshuti is now the  vice-coach of the Rwandan cycling team.
