The inauguration took place on 5th November 2015 at the national stadium in Dar es salaam. Even though this year’s presidential campaign and election process was the most intense in the history of our nation, it has also brought about a sense of unity, courage, hope and perseverance.

Since the swearing in of the new president, major transformations have been seen in crucial areas of the nation. Among the changes implemented by the new president include but not limited to government budget cuts, renovating national hospitals, and reduction of government ministerial departments. President Magufuli became a trend in social media such as twitter and instagram with hashtag #whatwouldmagufulido prompting other government officials to follow in his footsteps for a much needed change.
